REVIEWING THE IMPACT OF INFLATION

Inflation hasn’t been a topic of discussion for a while, other than perhaps…” where did inflation go?” Sure, we heard about a desired inflation rate when the Fed spoke, but the desired rate of 2% seemed unobtainable. And then, after years of subdued inflation, markets reacted to the threat of increasing inflation. EMOTIONS AND INVESTING RARELY MIX

What happened this week? The tax cuts are still in place. The economy growth bulls were touting remains intact. The Fed hasn’t changed its stance (at least not publicly). He was comfortable and enjoying his new room (quieter and the nurses didn’t poke at him as often). As I sat and listened, I realized there were many lessons taken from his life. Many of those lessons translate into a financial plan.

HOT YOGA. A POOL. AND A HOSPITAL

Tell me if you heard this one… a financial planner and a client walk into a yoga studio. OK. I am not good at telling jokes, but I had conversations surrounding all three, last week. Somehow, they all pulled me towards one topic that I feel is worth discussing.
